WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A Little River woman has been sentenced in connection with a deadly 2025 crash in North Myrtle Beach, according to the 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.

A judge sentenced Kayla Tisdale, 38, on Tuesday to 14 years in prison after she pleaded guilty to felony DUI resulting in death, prosecutors said.

The solicitor’s office said she must serve at least 85% of her sentence before she is eligible for supervised release.

The case stems from a crash that happened around 1:30 p.m.

on April 4, 2025, on Sea Mountain Highway, prosecutors said.

Authorities said Tisdale had a 0.19 blood alcohol concentration when she failed to yield and hit a motorcycle.
