Woman charged with attempted murder in Myrtle Beach apartment shooting, records show

WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Police arrested a woman after a shooting Thursday afternoon at a Myrtle Beach apartment.

Jail records show Meshelle Johnson, 46, is charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and possession of a firearm or ammunition by a convicted felon.

WMBF confirmed the arrest through a Myrtle Beach Police Department incident report and Horry County court records.

Myrtle Beach police responded around 3:29 p.m.

to 2005 Greens Blvd., the Quail Marsh Apartments off 21st Avenue North, for a shooting inside a unit.
