WMBF News reports that CONWAY, SC (WMBF) - A top pitcher whose arm helped lead Coastal Carolina baseball to a College World Series run in 2025 is entering the transfer portal.
Baseball America and On3 are reporting that Cameron Flukey has entered the NCAA transfer portal with a do-not-contact tag that prevents schools from reaching out to him.
The 6-foot-6 right-hander from New Jersey pitched three seasons for Teal Nation.
His best season came in 2025, when he finished 7-2, striking out 118 batters.
He earned honors such as first-team All-Sun Belt Conference, Sun Belt Conference All-Tournament Team and D1Baseball third-team All-American.
But the team also saw success that year with Kevin Schnall, now the head coach of the South Carolina Gamecocks, leading the team to the College World Series championship series, where they came up short against LSU.
