WMBF News reports that TIMMONSVILLE, SC (WMBF) - A Pee Dee police department is looking for a new police chief.
The Town of Timmonsville announced that it is accepting applications for a new Chief of Police.
Chief James Allen has led the department for three years.
Town officials did not say why they are seeking a new chief.
The department received state recognition in April “for excelling in the area of DUI arrests, DUI victim services, and anti-underage drinking programs” during 2025.
Applicants can submit resumes by email to thomasm@timmonsville.org or deliver them to Town Hall at 115 West Main Street.
