WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Both suspects who deputies said walked away from AMI Kids near Bennettsville are now facing charges, according to the sheriff’s office.
In a Wednesday evening update, the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office said that the pair are each charged with two counts of burglary and malicious injury to property.
Earlier, just after 10, deputies announced that the juveniles, whom the sheriff’s office described as suspects, had been apprehended.
The juveniles are accused of breaking into a building located on Engine House Lane and a church on 15-401 Bypass.
According to the sheriff’s office, the two allegedly took several items that were subsequently found in their possession and vandalized the interior of the building by spray-painting graffiti on the walls and the locomotive.
Deputies said the juveniles had been spotted near Busy Bay and Florence Street on Wednesday morning.
