WMBF News reports that (Atlanta News First) — The suspect accused of carrying out a targeted shooting on a MARTA train on Friday night has been arrested, according to MARTA police.
Anthony Tyrone Gresham, 42, was arrested and taken into Douglas County Jail around 10 a.m.
Gresham was captured by police on Lee Road in Douglasville after a multi-agency search that began when he fled into a wooded area as officers attempted to approach him, authorities said.
Gresham was eventually located after being forced from the woods and was taken into custody without incident.
He was booked into the Douglas County Jail on charges of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
