South Carolina voting guide: What to bring to the polls

WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Here’s what South Carolina voters need to know before heading to the polls for the statewide primary election.

Voters heading to the polls can avoid delays by confirming their polling location before leaving home.

Voters should visit scvotes.gov to find their assigned polling place.

A valid form of identification is required to vote.

Acceptable forms of ID include a driver’s license, DMV ID card, voter registration card with a picture, military ID, concealed weapons permit or a passport.

Voters who do not have one of those forms of identification can ask a poll worker about voting with a provisional ballot, so you still have a chance for your vote to count.
