Voters heading to the polls can avoid delays by confirming their polling location before leaving home.

Voters should visit scvotes.gov to find their assigned polling place.

A valid form of identification is required to vote.

Acceptable forms of ID include a driver’s license, DMV ID card, voter registration card with a picture, military ID, concealed weapons permit or a passport.

Voters who do not have one of those forms of identification can ask a poll worker about voting with a provisional ballot, so you still have a chance for your vote to count.
