WMBF News reports that DILLON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - An officer-involved shooting suspect is being charged after he was captured during an overnight manhunt in Dillon.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division charged Steve Allen Mason Jr.
with two counts of attempted murder and two counts of wounding a police officer while resisting arrest.
The Dillon Police Department arrested Mason early Friday morning after an overnight manhunt.
Warrant states that Mason resisted arrest Thursday night while officers were serving an outstanding warrant in the area of East Harrison Street and U.S.
The warrant was for pointing and presenting a firearm at a local convenience store.
