WMBF News reports that SCOTLAND COUNTY, NC (WMBF) - Investigators are renewing a nearly decade-old plea for the public’s help in finding a Scotland County man who vanished without a trace in 2017.
The Scotland County Sheriff’s Office said Jonathan McNair, who was 33 years old at the time, was last seen on or about Sept.
29, 2017, after walking away from his home.
Family members told deputies that McNair had been displaying unusual behavior in the days leading up to his disappearance.
They said he was talking and mumbling to himself, and at times would stare blankly into space.
His family believes he may have had an undiagnosed mental health condition.
