WMBF News reports that HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Drivers in Horry County should plan for delays as SCDOT announced a lane closure for repairs.
The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close a lane on US 501 starting Tuesday to repair a drainage structure.
The work will take place at the intersection of US 501 and Mill Pond Road in Conway.
The outside northbound lane on US 501 will be closed on the north side of Mill Pond Road on Tuesday from 8 a.m.
Traffic signs will direct drivers through the work zone.
SCDOT asks drivers to slow down, stay alert, and pay attention to crews and signs in the area.
