WBTW News13 reports that (WBTW)-- This afternoon, most of the morning rain will be pushing offshore.
Winds will begin to settle, and we’ll see partly sunny skies develop.
It won’t be as hot as yesterday, but temperatures will still be warm, and humidity levels will remain high.
Highs will range from 88 to 92 degrees, with heat index values in the mid-90s to around 100 degrees.
The trailing cold front associated with the remnants of Tropical Storm Arthur won’t push south of us until tonight, so while the rain will be widespread this morning, an isolated shower or thunderstorm will still be possible during the afternoon.
The weekend looks dry, with temperatures returning to near normal.
