Residents say dangerous Myrtle Beach intersection needs traffic light as accidents mount

WMBF News reports that — Residents of the Crescent Cove community say they were told there would be a traffic light at a dangerous intersection, but that promise appears unfulfilled.

Neighbors say Pulte Homes told them a light would go up at the River View and 707 intersection once the development hit 240 homes.

Residents say that number has already been passed, and the light is still not there.

When residents moved in about a year ago, Pulte Homes told them a traffic light was in the works for that intersection.

Daily challenges at growing intersection Neighbors in the community say crossing the River View and 707 intersection is a daily challenge, and with the area growing fast, it is only getting more dangerous.

“You always feel a little bit of trepidation as you come to that corner, especially leaving the complex,” John and Mary Sullivan said.
