Police doubt husband’s account of missing Horry County woman

WMBF News reports that HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - While Horry County police search for a missing woman, they are questioning her husband’s story.

Cyrena Anderson’s sister reported her missing on May 19.

The sister last spoke to Anderson on May 12, and Anderson failed to report to work on May 14 Police said Anderson was last seen with her husband, Danny Osborne, at their home in the Forestbrook area.

Osborne told investigators Anderson gathered her belongings and left early in the morning on May 13.

Investigators said they have since discovered evidence that contradicts his account.

Osborne is now in custody in North Carolina.
