Pee Dee Ice Cats name vice president, general manager

WMBF News reports that FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - The Pee Dee Ice Cats have announced the name of a new leader within the organization.

Tom Callahan will serve as the new Vice President and General Manager effective immediately.

“Throughout his career, he has been involved in numerous facets of the game, earning a reputation as a respected hockey professional with a deep understanding of team operations, player development, and organizational growth,” said the organization.

Callahan will manage business operations, including media relations, corporate partnerships, and more.

He joined the IceCats early in the 2025-26 season, working within communications and broadcasting.

“One of the things our fans have come to appreciate is Tom’s ability to connect with the game and communicate it so effectively from the broadcast booth,” said President of the Pee Dee IceCats Kevin Cuppia.
