WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Volunteers were able to carefully relocate several sea turtle eggs on Sunday.
The Myrtle Beach Police Department said that a Loggerhead Sea turtle laid 119 eggs near 64th Avenue North in a renourished area of the beach.
Myrtle Beach State Park volunteers and Interpretive Rangers relocated the eggs to a more secluded area along the Grand Strand to help increase the chances of a successful hatch Officers also reminded beach visitors of the following: Feel more informed, prepared, and connected with WMBF.
