North Myrtle Beach issues voluntary water restrictions

WMBF News reports that NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Residents in the City of North Myrtle Beach are being asked to reduce water usage.

On Wednesday, the city said that due to drought conditions, people are encouraged to follow tips such as: According to the North Myrtle Beach government, to offset the strong demand from sprinkler systems: “We appreciate our community working together to help conserve water and keeping North Myrtle Beach resilient,” said officials.

The city said that these tips can help protect water resources during statewide drought conditions.
