FLORENCE — A new urgent care is open and ready for patients at a busy Florence intersection.

Prisma Health Urgent Care recently announced the opening of a location in Florence in a building that was once home to Florence’s now-moved Orangetheory Fitness — and years ago, a Payless shoe store.

Residents can now visit the new center at 1901 W.

Palmetto Street near Starbucks and across from Firestone for convenient, high-quality walk-in treatment of non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, according to a press release.
