WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Police are letting residents know of an increased presence after shots were fired.
Myrtle Beach Police Department said that on Friday at 5:22 a.m., officers were called to the 100 block of South Ocean Boulevard in reference to a ShotSpotter alert.
Police say that one round was fired and no injuries have been reported.
Residents may notice an increased law enforcement presence in the area as officers continue their investigation.
