WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A Myrtle Beach man pleaded guilty to drug charges instead of going to trial.
Fifteenth Circuit Solicitor Jimmy Richardson announced that on May 20, Travon Douglas Haskins, 24 years old, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
In April 2025, the Horry County Police Department’s Narcotics Division, along with the SWAT team, executed a search warrant at Haskin’s home.
Officers seized large amounts of methamphetamine and cocaine, along with MDMA, crack cocaine, marijuana, firearms, a digital scale, and cash.
Initially, Haskin’s trial was scheduled for later in June, which is no longer necessary.
A judge sentenced Haskins to 10 years in prison for each offense.
