WMBF News reports that HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - A Myrtle Beach man has been sentenced to prison in connection with a fatal DUI crash that killed an 84-year-old Murrells Inlet man, according to the 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
A judge sentenced Michael Wagner, 38, on Tuesday to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to felony DUI resulting in death.
The solicitor’s office said Wagner must serve at least 85% of his sentence before he is eligible for supervised release.
The case stems from a crash that happened around 1:40 p.m.
on May 19, 2025, in the Myrtle Beach area, according to the solicitor’s office.
Authorities said Wagner was driving a Dodge 3500 work van southbound on S.C.
