WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Gas prices in Myrtle Beach have plummeted over the last month.
The average price of gas in Myrtle Beach has fallen by 75.9 cents per gallon compared to a month ago and by 19.3 cents per gallon over the last week, according to GasBuddy.
The average price of gas is $3.33 per gallon, GasBuddy’s survey of 197 stations said.
While prices have dropped sharply in recent weeks, GasBuddy said they remain higher than last year.
The report said Myrtle Beach gas prices are 61.1 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
The survey showed a wide range of prices locally, with the cheapest station in Myrtle Beach listed at $3.21 per gallon on Sunday, and the most expensive was $4.29 per gallon, a difference of $1.08.
