WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Multiple fires have been reported in recent weeks along Crow Lane and Emory Boulevard in the Market Common area.
Myrtle Beach firefighters were able to quickly put out each fire.
No one has been hurt in these fires.
Myrtle Beach Fire and Police are working together to determine the cause and identify the person or people responsible.
The severe drought conditions in Horry County have the community and firefighters on high alert because a small fire can quickly spread and become a big problem.
“Anytime, these it can be a small thing that can happen, so if it is someone who is either doing it intentionally or unintentionally, we want to make sure that we’re taking care of that for sure,” said Jonathan Evans, fire department public information officer.
