Missing North Carolina woman declared dead after more than a decade

WMBF News reports that (WMBF) - A woman who has been missing for more than a decade has been legally declared dead in Robeson County.

A Robeson County judge legally declared Sara Graham, who disappeared on Feb.

4, 2015, dead in accordance with a North Carolina statute on Monday, the sheriff’s office said.

The statute establishes that any missing person may be presumed dead if they have been absent from their last known residence and unheard from for a continuous period of seven years.

Authorities say Graham left early on the morning of Feb.

4, 2015, to go to work at Walmart, but she never made it there.
