WMBF News reports that MARLBORO COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Authorities have announced the arrest of a Pee Dee woman after a false report.
On Friday, the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office said that Jessica McKinnon was charged with providing a false report of felonies after she admitted to the crime.
The investigation began after deputies received a Facebook message from a resident regarding the spreading of possible false information about an illegal traffic stop in Clio by two white males.
Deputies said that the post with false information was found on McKinnon’s page and that she failed to report the incident to law enforcement.

Deputies said she admitted her post was untrue during a second interview.
