WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A Marion County deputy who was seriously injured in an off-duty motorcycle crash earlier this month is now back home.

Marion Fire Rescue said Deputy “Jackie” Yates has completed his rehabilitation process and is being transported home as he continues to heal from a broken leg.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office previously said Yates spent 13 days in the hospital before transitioning to a rehab facility to recover from numerous broken bones.
