WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Developers are calling it the area’s first new coastal condominium offering in more than a decade, and it is coming under the Margaritaville name.
Developers broke ground Saturday on the 271-unit Margaritaville Vacation Residences Myrtle Beach, a resort-style residential community at 235 Fins Up Circle in Arcadian Shores.
Margaritaville is a global lifestyle brand inspired by the late Jimmy Buffett and features restaurants, a cruise line, and hotels.
According to a news release from BoardroomPR, the project received a $60 million construction loan from DLP Capital, a private real estate investment firm.
Art Falcone, the chief executive officer of AmeriCraft Homes, a homebuilding operation that is a co-developer of the project, said he is thrilled about it.
“We’re excited to work with this iconic brand to bring a one-of-a-kind lifestyle community to one of the country’s most beloved beachfront destinations,” Falcone said.
