WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A Myrtle Beach man was sentenced after entering an Alford plea in connection with an armed robbery at a pizza delivery chain on New Year’s Eve.

Fifteenth Circuit Solicitor Jimmy Richardson announced that Jamarre Clayburn, 24, of Myrtle Beach, entered a plea under North Carolina v.

A defendant does not admit guilt in an Alford plea, but does recognize that there is likely enough evidence for a conviction.

31, officers with the Myrtle Beach Police Department responded to the Domino’s located at 1706 South Kings Highway for a reported armed robbery.

According to the warrant, Clayburn pointed a gun at the victim and the register before taking $88 from the restaurant.

Clayburn then ran away from the store toward 17th Avenue South, the warrant states.
