WMBF News reports that FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) - Police have arrested a suspect in connection with an armed robbery reported last month at a Florence store.
The Florence Police Department said investigators arrested Marche Bethea in connection with the May 18 robbery at Bargain Ben’s on W.
Police said Bethea is charged with armed robbery, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and criminal conspiracy.
Officers previously said they responded around 7:30 p.m.
to Bargain Ben’s for a reported armed robbery.
Police said a man wearing a hoodie and red gloves handed an employee a note claiming he had a gun and demanding money before taking cash from the register and running out of the store.
