WMBF News reports that HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - A Myrtle Beach area man is accused of acting recklessly in a deadly shooting.
Horry County police charged Michael Hall, 27, with involuntary manslaughter after a man was shot and killed at a Peachtree Road home on June 11.
Officers responded around 10:50 p.m.
and learned en route that the shooting was accidental and that the victim had been shot in the head.
A witness told police both Michael Hall and the victim were intoxicated and “messing around” at the time, according to a police report.
An arrest warrant states Michael Hall “displayed reckless disregard for the safety of others” when he retrieved a firearm, pulled the trigger and shot the victim in the head.
