WMBF News reports that MARLBORO COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - A man in the Pee Dee was arrested after a stabbing in the McColl area.
The Bennettsville Police Department responded to assist the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office with a stabbing on Lyall Street and Jennings Street in Bennettsville.
Deputies say the victim was found suffering from multiple stab wounds to the chest area and required immediate medical attention.
The Criminal Investigations Unit identified the suspect as Demetrius K.
Investigators say a physical fight between the victim and McCall led to the stabbing.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
