WMBF News reports that (WBTV) - The Charlotte Hornets have traded star player LaMelo Ball, just hours after rumors began swirling.
ESPN’s Shams Charania reported that Ball and fellow Hornet Josh Green were traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Trade rumors involving Ball surfaced immediately following the end of the NBA draft on Wednesday night.
The trade materialized quickly and the Timberwolves succeeded in pairing the 24-year-old Ball with star Anthony Edwards.
As for the Hornets, they get an experienced big man in Reid, plus the future draft picks.
Soon to be 27 years old, Reid has averaged just under 12 points points per game in seven NBA seasons, mostly coming off the bench.
