WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The Junior League of the Grand Strand held its fourth annual rummage sale at the Myrtle Beach Mall this weekend.

The event raises money for local nonprofits and community projects.

Shoppers filled trash bags for $5 each at the sale.

“Over the past 4 years we have been able to partner with 6 community partners, nonprofits here in the area, and probably over 100 done in a day projects.

So, this event is really gonna fund all of those endeavors,” said Brooke Vu, fund development vice president for the Junior League of the Grand Strand.

Vu said the sale has grown in popularity each year.
