WMBF News reports that HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - An Horry County man isn’t wasting any time after winning $100k on a lottery ticket.

The lucky winner told lottery officials, “I’m going to spend it,” after learning that his quick-pick ticket purchased from a Loris convenience store was worth six figures.

The man said he didn’t know how much the ticket was worth at first.

The winning ticket came within one number of winning the May 13 jackpot, lottery officials said.

“It’s the first time I’ve won something,” the man said.

“I’m going to enjoy it.” The convenience store received a $1,000 commission for selling the winning ticket.
