WMBF News reports that HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - As early voting for the 2026 primary election continues, Horry County is expected to break its previous early voting record.

Horry County Director of Registration and Elections Sandy Martin told WMBF that more that as of June 2, more than 11,340 residents have already cast their primary ballots.

Betty and George Paul were among those who voted early.

“We just felt like it was our patriotic duty to come out and participate in the election,” George said.

Martin said she expects Horry County voters to break the current early voting record.

“In ’22 we had 11,600, so we’re gonna pass that,” Martin said.
