WMBF News reports that HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - A fire left a Horry County home with damage.
On Sunday, Horry County Fire Rescue was called to the 6000 block of South Kings Highway in the area of Surfside Beach just before 3:00 p.m.
The home sustained fire damage to the attic area.
The agency said several other area residents also reported apparent lightning strikes hitting their homes and heavy lightning was reported throughout the area.
Surfside Beach Fire Department and Myrtle Beach Fire Department assisted.
