HCPD report sheds light on Forestbrook woman’s life before disappearance

WMBF News reports that HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Newly obtained documents are shining a light on Cyrena Anderson’s life and marriage before she went missing in May 2026.

Anderson, who lives in Forestbrook, was reported missing by her sister on May 19.

Horry County Police previously announced that their efforts to locate Anderson had become a criminal investigation and named her husband, Danny Osborne, a person of interest.

Osborne is currently in custody in New Hanover County, North Carolina, on what HCPD has called unrelated charges.

Anderson’s sister, Nerisa Stancil, said learning Osborne is a person of interest was not a surprise to her.

He has made numerous threats to her; if she ever left him, you know he would get her fired from her job,” Stancil said.
