WMBF News reports that ROBESON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Four people have been charged after an investigation into a crash that killed a teen in Robeson County.
The North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement Division said it began investigating after the N.C.
State Highway Patrol reported alcohol was believed to be a factor in a May 17 single-vehicle crash on Lizzie Road.
Officials said passenger Ta’Nyah Pittman was pronounced dead at the scene and the juvenile driver was taken to the hospital and later released.

Investigators said the occupants were provided a bottle of liquor and also bought alcohol on two occasions that day at Tiger Mart, 310 North Walnut Street in Fairmont, before going to a park in Robeson County to drink and later traveling to where the crash occurred.
