WYFF 4 reports that A former detective in Horry County, South Carolina, is accused of pointing a gun at a fellow officer during an argument about microwaved fish.

According to the arrest warrant, 46-year-old Michael DeBiase accused the officer of causing an odor in the office by microwaving fish.

He is then accused of pulling out his department-issued handgun and pointing it at the officer.

The Myrtle Beach Police Department said DeBiase was immediately placed on administrative leave pending an investigation and was later fired.

DeBiase was charged with pointing and presenting firearms at a person.

He was booked into jail on Tuesday and released later that day.
