WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Police made an arrest after shots were fired in Myrtle Beach last Friday.

Marshals Service Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Darnell Antonio Richardson, 38 years old, in connection with a shooting on the 100 block of South Ocean Boulevard.

Myrtle Beach Police Department said that on Friday at 5:22 a.m., officers were called to the area in reference to a ShotSpotter alert.

Investigators say Richardson was involved in an argument with the victim at the Bar Harbor Hotel.

Richardson has been charged with assault and battery, first degree, and felon in possession of a firearm or ammunition.
