WMBF News reports that FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - State agents have charged a Florence County woman with stealing and redeeming more than 130 lottery tickets.
According to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, Joanne Harrelson, 53, of Johnsonville, is facing charges after the South Carolina Education Lottery requested the SLED investigation.
An arrest warrant states that between the dates of Feb.
13 and March 7, Harrelson allegedly stole 131 scratch-off lottery tickets while employed at Prospect Grocery.
She is accused of redeeming the stolen tickets at the same store for nearly $500, according to the warrant.
The warrant states that these acts were caught on video surveillance.
