WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A Pamplico native made his Carolina Country Music Fest debut a year after performing for hundreds in a parking garage.
Elliot Poston made his return to CCMF after a rain delay cancelled his performance last year.
However, that delay led to Poston having a full blown concert for a huge crowd in a parking garage while waiting out the storm.
“I just heard a small still voice say open your guitar and start playing,” Poston said.
“So, I lifted the liftgate up put my guitar down opened it up and started playing.
Before you knew it we had hundreds of people sitting there just singing together making the best out of a bad moment.” Poston said he was excited to get the call welcoming him back this year with the opportunity to play on two different stages.
