WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Scattered showers are likely Wednesday morning before heat and humidity return in full force Thursday.

Tropical moisture may lead to better chances of thunderstorms by Friday.

High humidity flowing into the Carolinas will keep mostly cloudy skies and the risk of showers in place Wednesday morning.

A few downpours will be possible a few either hours either side of sunrise Wednesday.

By the afternoon, brighter skies return with high humidity and temperatures reaching the middle and upper 80s.

Temperatures and humidity surge back, with highs reaching 90° along the Grand Strand and into the lower-to-mid 90s inland.
