WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A few isolated storm chances early in the week will give way to a stretch of summer heat.

A weak cold front is moving into the region, but it’s working against limited support.

That means coverage in showers will remain isolated today.

Expect more clouds to arrive for the first half of the week with temperatures at their warmest on Monday.

We’ll reach the upper 80s to lower 90s today with the risk of a couple showers around this afternoon.

Once again, our rain chances are less than impressive today.
