WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A family-owned sandwich shop in downtown Myrtle Beach has closed after more than 47 years in business.
Joe White Avenue has been taken down, and a new family-owned restaurant called Caribbean Flavors has moved in and is open this summer.
In 2022, the original owners retired and closed the business after 43 years.
Months later, a new owner reopened the Myrtle Beach staple.
Now, the owners’ parents decided to retire.
Rondel Edwards, one of two sons and partial owner and chef of Caribbean Flavors, said the connection to Mr.
