$6.9M athletic fields approved for Florence school

A Florence middle school is getting its own athletic fields in a project that’s expected to be complete in the middle of next year.

Williams Middle School is set to get two athletic fields in the coming year.

The Florence 1 Schools’ Board of Trustees approved a $6.9 million project for Williams Middle School at its June 11 meeting.
