WMBF News reports that MARLBORO COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Deputies are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a Marlboro County shooting.
The Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office is looking to identify the suspect in a shooting that injured one person and damaged a home on Hart Lane in the Bennettsville area.
Deputies said the suspect and Nicholas Miller, who has been previously charged in the case, fired at a victim on the night of June 8.
The victim was visiting a homeowner when Miller arrived, and a heated conversation between the victim and Miller escalated, according to deputies.
Deputies said the victim returned fire when the suspects fired at them.
The victim was injured in the shooting, and the homeowner’s property was damaged, deputies said.
