Deputies investigating after Georgetown County man found dead outside home

WMBF News reports that GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Investigators are asking for the public’s help after a man was found dead outside his home in Murrells Inlet.

The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office said Thomas Fitzgerald, 62, was found lying outside a home on Cord Grass Loop around 11 p.m.

The sheriff’s office said that an autopsy is scheduled for Monday, and the investigation is ongoing.
