Death investigation underway at Twilight Surf Motel in Myrtle Beach

WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A death investigation is underway at a Myrtle Beach motel.

Myrtle Beach Police Department officers responded to the Twilight Surf Motel at 1703 South Ocean Boulevard at around 2:53 p.m., where a dead person was found.

The cause of death is not yet known.

Department spokesperson Randolph Angotti said officers gained access to the room a short time ago.

As with all ongoing investigations, the department is asking the public to be mindful of unverified information circulating on social media.

Officials said further details may not be released.
