WMBF News reports that MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Students from colleges nationwide have been gathered in North Myrtle Beach for the last month as part of Cru’s “Summer Mission,” but their time here is coming to an end.

Cru is a program centered on connecting students with Jesus and preparing them to live out their faith.

Organizers say the summer mission has a legacy spanning more than 50 years, training students in evangelism, Bible study, leadership development, and community building.

College-aged students and staff are sharing God’s word with people of all ages, aimed at helping others grow and explore their faith.

Participants say they spend their days talking with people from all backgrounds along the beach and throughout the community, focused on listening, building relationships, and having faith-based conversations.
