WMBF News reports that HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Crews are working to contain a reported woods fire in the Nichols area on Thursday afternoon.
Horry County Fire Rescue was dispatched shortly after 12:30 p.m.
to the area of Raven Road and Pinckney Road to the woods fire.
HCFR estimated the fire at 10 acres in size and advised that the scene remains active.
The South Carolina Forestry Commission is assisting with two plows.
The Loris Fire Department and Fair Bluff Fire Rescue are also assisting.
